Bobby Lane is a jazz trumpeter, composer, and educator from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Bobby is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where he studies with Tito Carrillo and Ronald Romm. He is active as a bandleader and composer with his quintet, Sketchbook, which recorded their self-titled EP in the fall of 2014.
